Family Barn Dances
We invite everyone to join us for our Traditional New England Barn Dances at the Groton Grange Hall. Enjoy an evening of music and dancing, with music by Groton's own Contra Banditos! Our Caller will teach square, circle and contra dances to the beat of Celtic and Old Time Fiddle Tunes. The dances are open to everyone young and old. Beginners are always welcome and it is not necessary to bring a partner.
Donation: Adults $5.00 Kids/Seniors $3.00

Leasing Land for Agricultural Production
Are you interested in farming? Are you looking for land to farm? Are you looking for a farmer to farm your land?
Then please come to the public to an informal session on
Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
This program will be presented by the Becca Weaver from the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, and Kathy Ruhf from Land for Good, which provides services such as, locating farmland, education, training, business/enterprise development and production and marketing assistance for beginning farmers.
At this session the following topics will be discussed: finding and working with a farmer, information on leases, legal aspects, and community considerations.

Vinyasa Yoga
Yoga with Charlotte Ott
A multi level yoga class for students of all levels. This class links breath with an ongoing flow of postures. Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace. Several versions of postures will be offered so individuals will have a variation suited for them. Personal attention and hands on assists will be offered to interested students. Beginners welcome. Classes held in the hall upstairs where there is an updated heating system and new windows for your added comfort.
